Location: Green Bay, WI

Shift: 1st Shift

Work model: Hybrid

Schedule: Full-time; Monday - Friday, 9:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Schneider is seeking a Claims Specialist to join our thriving team! You will be supporting tasks that enable successful adjudication of INS Insurance claims. Your primary responsibility includes processing FNOL (first notice of loss) calls from drivers, law enforcement officials, other departments within Schneider and external claimants. In addition, you will be completing federal forms, ensuring DOT compliance after an accident and managing all email traffic within INS. This position supports the entire INS department including: Accident Claims, Cargo Claims, Workers Compensation, Subrogation and Litigation.

About the role:
  • Process automated reports from drivers, requesting disposition from customers
  • Create claims submitted by customer and preserve supporting documentation in accordance with Schneider process
  • Respond to emergency in-transit events that may require hiring of on-site vendor

Ideal candidates will have:
  • High School/GED or equivalent work experience. One to two years of relevant work experience
  • Prior experience working with computers and computer systems required
  • Experience in the trucking/transportation industry and terminology helpful
  • Ability and desire to work on site, in person, at a Schneider facility as part of a team
